Emergency PlumberLondon 24/7

24/7 emergency service

Warm rooms, quiet pipes, controls that work.

Cold radiators, banging pipes and thermostats that ignore you all have fixable causes. We repair, upgrade and install central heating systems across London.

Quick answer

Radiators that are cold at the top usually need bleeding; radiators cold at the bottom or in patches usually point to sludge, which a power flush clears. If several radiators stay cold, check the boiler pressure and pump. Call 07718 185128 for a central heating repair in London.

FAQs

Central heating & radiators: your questions answered

Why is my radiator cold at the top?

Air has collected at the top of the radiator. Turn the heating off, open the bleed valve with a radiator key until water appears, close it, then check the boiler pressure and top up if needed.

Why is my radiator cold at the bottom?

Sludge — a mix of rust and debris — settles in the bottom of the radiator and blocks the flow. A power flush or a radiator flush usually fixes it.

Do you install underfloor heating?

Yes, we install and repair wet underfloor heating as part of our central heating service. We will check your existing system can support it first.
