Emergency PlumberLondon 24/7

24/7 emergency service

Find the leak before it finds your ceiling.

Hidden leaks behind walls, under floors and inside boxing do slow, expensive damage. We trace the source, fix it, and keep the opening-up to a minimum.

Quick answer

Signs of a hidden plumbing leak include damp or stained patches, peeling paint, a musty smell, a water meter that moves when every tap is off, a higher water bill, or a boiler that keeps losing pressure. Call 07718 185128 and a plumber will trace the leak and repair it.

  2. 02

    Trace

We check meters, pressure and pipe runs to narrow the leak down to a small area.

  3. 03

    Repair

The leaking pipe, joint or fitting is repaired or replaced.

  4. 04

    Confirm

We test the system and confirm the leak has stopped before we leave.

FAQs

Hidden leak detection: your questions answered

How do I know if I have a hidden leak?

Turn off every tap and appliance, then check your water meter. If the numbers keep moving, water is escaping somewhere. Damp patches, a rising bill and a boiler that loses pressure are other common signs.

Water is coming through my ceiling from the flat above — what do I do?

Turn off electrics near the leak, put a bucket underneath and contact your neighbour or the managing agent. If you cannot reach them, call us — we can help isolate the supply and find the source.

Will you have to take up my floor?

Not usually. We narrow the leak down before opening anything, so access is normally limited to a small, specific area. We agree it with you first.
