Blocked drain? We’ll get it flowing again.
Slow sinks, gurgling plugholes and an overflowing manhole all point to a blockage. We clear it with rods or high-pressure jetting and tell you what caused it.
Quick answer
A blocked drain usually shows itself as slow-draining sinks, gurgling, bad smells or water backing up from a manhole or gully. Avoid chemical cleaners on a full blockage. Call 07718 185128 — we clear drains with rods or high-pressure water jetting, 24 hours a day across London.

FAQs
Blocked drains: your questions answered
Who is responsible for a blocked drain?
Generally, drains serving only your property are your responsibility. Shared sewers and lateral drains beyond your boundary are usually the water company’s — Thames Water in most of London. We can tell you which applies once we see it.
Should I use drain unblocker chemicals?
Not on a full blockage. Chemicals rarely shift fat or debris, can damage older pipes and make the job hazardous for whoever clears it. A plunger is fine for a single sink.
What is drain jetting?
Jetting uses a high-pressure water hose to scour the inside of the drain, cutting through fat, scale, silt and debris. It clears the blockage and cleans the pipe walls so it is less likely to return.
How can I stop drains blocking again?
Keep fat, oil and grease out of sinks, use plughole strainers, and only flush toilet paper. Wet wipes — even “flushable” ones — are one of the most common causes of blocked drains in London.
